Drum and Bass Roots with Mad Twist, Ogonek and Ruji

We are going back to the roots of our beloved record label  Metafiziq Recordings  to share with you how our favorite Drum and Bass music evolved over the years trough the label's releases.

Metafiziq Recordings is a Drum and Bass electronic dance music label that was founded in 2008 by Valery Sholevski (known as OGONEK) and Daniel Iliev (known as MAD TWIST) in Sofia, Bulgaria.

 

The label unites  the production of the local and international artists, including names like Dub Elements, Kaiza (Germany), Gancher and  Ruin (Russia),  Freqax (Romania), Fragz (Portugal), Erre (Spain) , Max Shade (Ukraine), Joanna Syze (USA), Petram (Portugal), Ymb (Netherlands), Cooh (Bulgaria), Kigami (Bulgaria), Infamous (Spain), Digital Soul (Bulgaria), Triamer (Russia) and many more...

 

Metafiziq Recordings has proudly settled within the drum and bass scene and retains its place as one of the biggest DNB labels in terms of electronic dance music releases in Bulgaria. 

 

The label’s primarily style is orientated towards the heavier and pure Drum and Bass sound, combining Dark, Crossbreed, Technoid, Techstep, Rolling  and Neurofunk styles. 

 

Nevertheless, the "Metalight" series of Metafiziq Recordings, stands out with its deep and melodic sound, including genres like IDM, Chillout, Trip-hop, Deep Drum and Bass.
