EMOSHIN

I am Jesse Bishop (aka Bishop, aka Emoshin) from Poquoson in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. I grew up listening to metal music and I have always been inspired by the cutting edge sounds from Slipknot, Spineshank, Korn, Coal Chamber and many other simplified heavier music styles.

Slowly I developed a taste for something different that still kept the heavy, funky sound while still giving a lot of energy and unique sounds. I fell across a Roni Size song called "Dirty Beats", then eventually stubled across a Dieselboy mix which opened me up to tons of new artists and sounds. From there I have developed a huge taste and appreciation for ALL genres of electronic music.

Over the years I have really expanded my knowledge and appreciation for Drum & Bass more than any other genre I have ever heard. I started developing graphics in the music scene for artist such as Propaganda for "Grime City EP" and also multiple release covers for Flight Recordings, Ruse Records, and eventually leading me to Ammunition Recordings.

I have been producing for over 10+ years now but have been much more serious about my production since my first release in 2008 when I released "Spacesuit" on Ammunition Recordings. I plan on having a lot of projects and releases upcoming more and more in the present and future!
